Default I remain the champ of tangled chains!

I was always patient enough to untangle any necklace. My daughters would even have their friends bring theirs to me. I had one friend that brought her chain that her Mom was going to throw away but she brought it to me and I untangled it for her. So when we were going through Mom's jewelry we found a big tangled mess of chains that some were going to throw away. So I brought it home. At first I thought iut was 2 necklaces, one silver and one gold. Then I finally got a gold one out and there was still gold in the mess. Then I found out that I had three fasteners in the mess. After about 8 hours the last two finally came apart. So I now have 4 lovely necklaces. One is a nice cross that I will give to my oldest grandaughter from her Grandma Pete.

May I send you a couple pair of work out shorts with the strings all messed up? I can't get them undone and they are all tangled and knotted. Just don't give them to anyone when you get them straightened out, okay?

I say, put them all in an envelope and send them to "Dollars for Gold" ... The're just gonna melt them anyway.

When I think of all the money DH spent for all those chains, when they were popular, I get sick, looking at that crumpled up mess!!

I have one gold chain around my neck now. It was the box cut one I gave to him and he wore it till he died. I now wear it with a diamond studded heart, that he gave me for Christmas, about 20 yrs ago.

I wish I could have just shipped them off and got money for them. But knowing my Mom, they were all costume jewelry.
