Lucky you, Sal!!! *reaches for a cookie*

My neighbor across the street is an old dude who looks like a skinny Santa Claus.

The one next door to him is a younger dude whose personal hygiene is questionable. I told a friend the other day that if he (the neighbor) was a couch, I wouldn't sit on him.

You have ALL the luck, Sal!!!

im with Twink, I wouldnt want some of my neighbors dragging thru my home. Either they would be casing the joint, or making fun of my non brand name things. I have one who is a label dropper. "oh! the isnt a tiffany lamp...what a shame, it could have been so pretty." or "why would you not get a Sony TV?" When I point out that it is a Sony Bravia its then pffted. From my coffee creamer to my couch. I just cant take her/him being in here. The other is always in trouble with the law, and frequently shows up drunken. Wants to sit and sob and tell me how hard his life is. eeeek!

I want sally's neighbors.

Sigh. Long ago I had a John Deere repair guy. Gorgeous? Even DH could see he was. He once was a pool boy(or guy) in Hawaii. He's gone now. Talk about eye candy!! DH accused me of breaking riding mower on purpose to get him out here. New guy looks like an ugly dwarf. Mower never needs servicing now. Coincidence?

Lol, I always tease DH that the reason I work so many hours is to bank enough to hire a pool boy some day. He just shakes his head and says, "whatever, we don't even have a pool".

LOL! That would happen here. We don't have a pool. BUT . . .we have a yard that the pool boy could work on and that would take more than a day. So would that work?

*tkrik calling Sally to see if I can borrow one of her hunks.*

I've found that men are the best peeps to ask for help. Women usually become overly possessive and pushy helpful..KWIM? Yikes.

I had a Neighbor who was so helpful when our electricity went out for a week. Bringing me food, cooking thing for me on her grill(2 women offered to do that). I said no, but the one did it anyway.

I left the door unlocked for her during the day and she would just walk right in, without knocking. I really really did appreciate her help and when our elec. came back on (8 loooooong days later?), I wrote her a check to reimburse her for her food and trouble.

I told her that I was going to lock back up and to please call, if she was coming over. She came knocking on my door and I told her that I couldn't get up right now (if she had called, she would have known that). She never spoke to me again and soon moved away!

Hunks, on the other hand, don't pester the chit out of you, aren't always available, but come running, when they can and then leave you alone.
