Default So um, 6 more days until hearing. AND...

Househunting today we found one we like, one that we both agree on and one we afford. And if all of that wsn't stressful enough...

It is official. DD13 (His daughter) is coming the first week of June... to live here. With us. Either in this house or the new one if we get it.

SO I am excited and scared and freaking out and AGGGGHHHHH!!

so...DH2B has decided to behave himself and is going to stay? Hold him to his promise to fix whatever is eating him, so you dont have a repeat. You dont need that.

Im so happy you found a place. What was wrong with the old one? Rental or owning? If its a rental make sure the landlord cleans it first. YOu can negotiate that into the lease. Make a list and have pics of broken things BEFORE you move in, that way when you move out no one can try to charge you for them. You can also use the pics as leverage to get the landlord moving on fixing them. Take good pics before any of your stuff moves in, and take good pics after all your stuff moves out. Set your camera to have a date function turned on, and check the date. Best protection ever!

How far away are you moving from where you are at?

Yup Kitty you missed the crying and the begging and the counseling and the begging and the more begging and the complete 180 he has still been holding strong to. Strange how my being over you will do that to you.

So I somehow turned back into me over the course of all of this and I have decided to stay me. I realized we both lost ourselves along the way. Part of my rules for staying are that he needs to bring his DD here fulltime. He cannot be a husband here and a father in KY at the same time. And there is no reason for her to be there her mother just reappeared after 10 yrs of being MIA and that child needs a normal family. or as much of one as we can give her. So that was that.

Now he wants to buy a house. I think he realized I am not taking his crap and I will have no probelm leaving him should he choose to act like a jerk again.

It is a LOT of big steps and I am tripping over the little steps. But the house we are looking at is a great investment. If we get the loan set up as a rehab the way we want and are able to invest about 20 k into it, it would be worth almost double the deal they are asking seeing as it is a foreclosure. Plus I dont think the market can get much lower it will have to rise at some point. On what we will be saving versus what we pay for rent each month it is a no brainer. Even with the extra 20k in the loan, we will be paying about 350 a month less and it is something we own.
