I'm in GA and I'm okay. I think the worst of it was north of me and south of me. We got heavy rain, wind and lots of lightning and thunder but no tornadoes. The pictures of AL and western GA are so horrible. Whole streets of homes just obliterated. Please keep all these folks in your prayers.

I sure do hope Pam will be able to check in. She's in AL and they really got hit hard.

Oh, that's right! She's in Alabama, too. So thankful she is okay. Here is a link to the local news coverage here in Atlanta............

I'm thinking these pictures are from the West GA area...Ringgold, Rome, Calhoun area. This is about 75 miles NW of where I live.

So glad you are alright, Kell. My Cousin live in Buford and was safe, also. TG!

I have been praying for those in Alabama and their Families.....and Georgia now, as well.

Buford is just up the road a bit from me, Sal! Not far at all. Yes, we were very fortunate to have been spared.

Well, if I ever need to get something to you, I know who to ask.

BTW, where is my brain? She is my 42 yr old Niece, not Cousin. She's my DDBro's kid. She's a twin and her bro lives in NJ/Penn.

if any of you have watched the news you know yesterday's tornadoes created havoc across a wide swath of land and over a long distance. Just now local news reports 158 dead in Alabama and they still have not done a complete assessment of damaged areas.

We live in east central Alabama and had no severe weather here, just wind and rain, but 40 miles north of us and 30 miles south there are areas with buildings leveled. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those affected by these storms. the loss of life and property will take a very long time to overcome~

Sounds like me...it was all around us but we only got heavy rain and wind.

I'm glad you're okay. My heart goes out to all the others who lost so much.
