Default Mass, Tornado!!

From Soxmom:
Quote:
We had 7 tornados rip thru western mass yesterday. One passed thru
the Cancer Center parking lot where my husband works. Its crazy...such
devastation in a downtown.

The sky was purple and green. We only had golfball size hail when we
headed to the basement yesterday afternoon.

It was really eerie around 8:15 as the sky was like goldenrod yellow.

Anyway clean up will be going on for a longtime to come. I would appreciate
prayers for those who lost loved ones, pets, and suffered loss of property! Its a mess.
I am glad you are alright, (((((Sox))))).
My prayers for Springfield Mass and surrounding, tornado struck, area, started last night and continue today.

Is everyone else out there OK?

Truly odd weather we're all having. Such extremes! Everyone in the aftermath of these storms is in my prayers. So glad you are okay, Sox.

Thanks Sal and Kel.

My brother witnessed the tornado that passed thru Westfield when he
was at a clients house. He said in less than thirty seconds it took out
a house about 2 houses over. He said on a scale of 1 to 10...his fear
was an 11!

and prayers for your community!

Yep I agree with your brother... a score of 11 on the fear scale is about how I felt on April 27th.

I never in my life thought I'd see video of the Connecticut River being sucked into a tornado! My husband's elderly sister, his nieces and nephews and their families all live in that area (Ludlow) and I have several friends and former co-workers around there. Still trying to get my mind around it. So relieved to hear you're okay, sox.
