Default Booked my birthday trip!

been debating back and forth about what to do, so I finally decided to book into the Casino in Connecticut. Foxwoods. We got a dinner package. You get an upgraded room, and your choice of several different restaurant packages. I chose the steak house. Nothing fancy, just good food. The fancy one with a view was a dress up occasion, and DH isnt going to wear a suit for dinner. So, I called and got a great deal. Then she was asking if I had a "dreamland" card and I said well, I have a card, but its a Wampum card not dreamland. She said OH! wait a sec, let me put you on hold. Then she came back, greeted me in my native tongue and dramatically upgraded my room to a suite in the big rollers area. Added gambling money, a dessert selection to our dinner, a free in room movie of our choice, and a certificate to shop in one of 5 stores at 50% off! WOW!

I asked her what happened, and she said "you my dear ARE native! and anyone with a Wampum card now with your # on it, shows it. She apologized for not being able to do more, but please, next time give notice and the red (parden the pun) carpet will be rolled out for me. DANG! I had no idea. She offered to double my stay, but I only wanted one night away, so I chose the ONE night package, but will keep that in mind for next time. Whooo hooo! Osiyo FoxWoods!

I have a dash of native Cherokee blood. May I go with you? I'll just stay in and order a lot of room service.

Congratulations on the upgrade and having someone find cause to reward you for being Native American... what a shocker
