I used to really like that show. Wonder if it's on Hulu? Columbo was always really cool.

Peter Falk was a neat actor, I kind of liked his style.

Just found a story about it. Read that he'd started having dementia after some dental surgery. Story mentioned that it's unclear if the anesthesia had anything to do with it. Sounds similar to what happened to my grandmother. She had surgery in the late 90s, and after the surgery she started to have problems with remembering things, and was well into dementia by the time she died in 2004.

My dad is an anesthetist and he's told me that there's studies and theories that once you pass a certain age, some anesthesias can some how trigger a post-anesthesia dementia. It's sad that Peter Falk might have had that happen to him.
