Default Hey Erin,,, how's that iPad working?

I was thinking of you while playing with my wife's iPad. What do you think of it? I'm guessing you love it and don't know how you lived without it.

I love my iPad!

I think I love reading ebooks on my Kindle more tho. (no backlight to hurt my eyes). I tend to play more with the iPad. Games, and listening to the police scanner app. I dont use the ebook reader on the iPad as much as I use my Kindle tho.

I'm hoping to go to a baseball game a couple of towns over later this month, and am trying to decide if I should take the iPad or the Kindle or my iPod Touch with me for reading in the hotel room. I can do email easy on the iPad, but I can do that too on my iPod Touch. (the Touch is easier to carry too)

I really do like the iPad tho. I havent touched my two laptop (Windows based) computers since I got the iPad. Only computer I use anymore is my iMac. (I've got a desktop Windows computer that I turn on, but usually end up turning it off without doing anything with it)

I just need to figure out which word processing program to put on my iPad so that I can do the occasional mail-to-myself Kindle document. (Windows computer ate a document I worked for 45 minutes on yesterday...just as I was trying to send it to my Kindle the document disappeared)

I had "documents to go" on the ipad. It worked well. I would also get the bluetooth keyboard if you need to type a lot of documents.

I have the bluetooth keyboard. My aunt gave it to me for my birthday that same week. Thing is, I decided to use the keyboard for my iMac. (typing with it right now) My desk has two computers on it, and the keyboards for both were taking up a lot of real estate. So I put the blue tooth on my iMac and put the wired iMac keyboard on my Windows computer. Lots more space on the desk now.

I've gotten used to using the on screen keyboard on the ipad. It's not too bad, thing I dont always care for, but not enough to turn it off, is the typing corrections on the iPad.

I was upstairs a little while ago, and my dad wanted me to look something up on Amazon for him. He decided to buy it, so I bought it for him from the iPad instead of going to a real computer to do it. My dad said this is going to be dangerous this Xmas when we do our shopping. I dont have to balance a laptop on my lap now.

It's a heck of a lot easier to drag around than my laptop. I havent even turned on my laptop since maybe the first week in June. (need to turn it on so it'll do updates soon)

I do kind of wish it did Flash videos, but it hasnt been that big of a deal.
