I would love it to make buckwheat cakes on the griddle or eggs. We occ do a zucchini stir fry and rather than olive oil I wondered if this would give a better flavor. think I will make some for myself and see. must go see Bessie the cow next door today.

The smoke point on Ghee is higher...so there are less fumes.
You can therefore cook at higher temps for less time. Coconut oil would be comparable to the Ghee (butter). Smoke points for certain oils all vary. Here is a chart: http://www.goodeatsfanpage.com/colle...mokepoints.htm Breathing in the fumes from oxidizing oils, is not good people. Low smoke point oils, fume faster, and break down quickly.
