Alright, I scooped out all the dead bugs and leaves that fell into the pool overnight.

The lemonade and fresh fruit are on the table under the umbrella. Ya'll come on out while it's cool enough to sit outside.

Someone's swimcap is floating in the deep end. Let's see who's got green hair this morning and we'll know whose cap it is! :p

Thanks, Kelly! I love your southern hospitality. You're mama raised you right.:p

I brought over some burgers (beef and turkey) and some hotdogs and bratwursts to grill. Wait!!!!! Who's manning the grill? I can do it if you all like burnt bratwursts (I really did burn them the other night:o:o) and burgers.

Oh, and, I don't think that's my swim cap. Mine was white with pretty flowers on it. And, my hair is not green this morning. It's yellow.:confused:

Do you all actually wear swim caps? I remember when I went to Ireland ( many years ago) the hotels that had pools required women to wear swim caps.

I don't even go in the pool, Barb! :o

Some people might who have chemically treated hair and don't want it to turn strange colors with the chlorine.

Where did that slide with a lift come from?!?!? Yahoooooo! That is awesome. *tkrik heading to the lift so she can finally go down a slide.*:p

Barb - I remember as a kid having to wear a swim cap. They required it in public pools. I don't know when they stopped requiring that. I don't even know why. Technology and better filtration devices I'm has a lot to do with it.

Thanks for cleaning up the pool Kel. Unfortunately the pool is 90 degrees today....darn this hot weather. I have been using the cover either:confused:
But its raining now.....so its a little cool.:)

SallyC 07-18-2011 11:49 AM

Yeah, would you believe, it's to hot for a pool party..:D

Kitty 07-18-2011 12:58 PM

Well, we can still sit in the shade and sip lemonade and talk. Nothing soothes the soul more than a gab-session with good friends. :)

soxmom 07-18-2011 01:05 PM

You are right Kelly and gabbing is what I am good at!!;)

Kitty 07-18-2011 01:21 PM

Me, too!! Just ask Joelle! :o

I wish the heat wave would end. I remember when I had a pool how yucky the water felt about this time of the summer. And there's no way to cool it off!

Thanks for letting us use your pool, Sox. :)

barb02 07-18-2011 09:12 PM

I am not sitting in the shade. Take me inside to the ac, and turn the thermostat down to 68! Yeah, I am still a little grumpy:p.

SallyC 07-18-2011 09:26 PM

I'm ordering a truckload of ice to be dumped into the pool. That ought to last for an hour or two..:D

I wonder if people really do that? :Ponder:

barb02 07-19-2011 08:44 AM

Yes, it was in the paper that they were doing it at a few of the public swimming pools.
