Default A Little Help Here Please

I'm thinking, in order to stay as indepengent as possible and still stay in my home of 34yrs, I must move my washer and dryer from the basement to somewhere upstairs.

My home is small...2 bedrms, 1 bath, liv rm, din rm & kitchen. All small rms. I could possibly take out a cabanet and put the small front loader washer in the kitchen and the dryer in another room?

I could get one of those expensive washer/dryer combos and either install it in a closet or make room in the galley kitchen? Neither of which will be a selling point of the house, in the future, but convenient for me, now!

I know, I should move into a one floor open plan condo, but I don't wanna.

Soooooooo, whatta ya all think? Can I do this? Will Medicare pay for it..HahAHa!!!!
