Default I've found a substitute for the Waltons

This family I can do at my own pace. I have found Anne of Green
Gables. I don't know why I never read this series when I was a child. It is just precious. I'll see whether or not the library has the movies. It was part of a 25 favorite novels I could get for free on my Nook Color.

Anne of Green Gables comes on PBS here. I love it! I'd love to get the entire collection on DVD.

That was my Mothers favorite, as a child.

It was published in 1908.

Have never seen the televised version. But, I read all the books (written by Lucy Maud Montgomery) as a child. I suspect that a lot of Canadian children did. Gotta love Anne! :-)
