So DH2B figured out why his AC quit working. Seems his compressor was about to go, and the pulley of course goes to the serpentine belt... yada yada yada. Going to cost $1200 to fix it

Then, as we were thinking about how to handle that situation, he decided to mow the lawn and trim the weeds. He hit a rock with the weedeater which flies up and shatters the back window to his camper shell. Glass goes EVERYWHERE... and then we find out they don't make that shell anymore so we will have to have a piece of glass custom cut to fit it.

It was at this point I decided to take DD to the park. We even went on a hike I was feeling so good. I have felt so great since missing my infusion that I am really going to have to decide if I want to go back on it.

I get home, he was working on truck doing things he could fix and he goes to start it... dead battery.

We jump the truck. Sudden squeal/smoke pouring out form under hood. YUP, the pulley on the compressor locked up. And snap crackle pop... there goes the serpentine belt!

Now we will have to get the truck towed as it no longer has power steering, alternator, or a fuel pump.

Oh, and I got into an argument with a stranger on FB because she is a moron.

You know Legz... I've noticed that no matter what the universe throws at you, you roll and land on your feet. I admire you from a distance and just wanted to say so. you are freakin' amazing!

Aww thank you. I don't always land on my feet. I have been knocked on my butt more times than I can count. But, I always did love a good challenge.

Well the truck cost over $1500. ouch my bank account hates that truck as much as i do. But on the plus side, I did find out the new shop will honor the warranties from the old shop (they were bought out), which is good because the power steering pump they put in last year is leaking.

Yesterday was DH2Bs last day of vacation. This of course lead to a big fight about him being a jerkface and not spending a single day of his vacation with me. So I called him out on it. Seems calling him a jerk on FB was a good thing because he read my reasons for being upset and it actually made sense to him.

So he pulled his head out of his butt and took DD and I out to see the Smurfs last night.

OH, and while DD and I were fishing without him, she decided to inform me that the jig is up. She KNOWS santa and the easter bunny aren't real and she knows it is the parents who try to make the kids dreams come true, and since I am a parent I should know this. I knew this day would come, she is 7. It just saddens me that my baby is growing up. I don't want her to grow up. I want her to stay little forever!!
