Default Do pigeons 'borrrow' empty nests?

In the spring I noticed a bird nest in my window and was excited because I thought I would be able to possible catch a glimpse of little tiny birds growing up and leaving the nest. You now, those kinnd of things that Grandmas love to do. But there were never any birds. So today I hear cooing outside my window and peek and there is a pigeon in the nest. She/he didn't seem to mind me peeking.

You know......now that I think of it I've never seen a baby pigeon. Has anyone seen one? I've seen plenty of adult pigeons. Do they have feathers as babies? When so they get all the colorful feathers in? Doydie, you'll have to take a picture of any babies that you see in that nest.

I actually got to see babies pegeons, but they grow incredibly quickly so its rare to get to see them in that stage. I used to work on an ambulance, and we used to park under a bridge overpass for lunch. TONS of pigeons would come out to beg. One day we saw the little ones! it seemed like 2 days later they were all full grown. My partner snapped their photo to prove babies existed. Gawd, that was so many years ago, and I have never seen another one since.
