Windows XP doesn't have a built in alarm or calendar - or I haven't found it yet...
I have a separate calendar/organizer program that I bought years ago called Anytime Organizer that I like, but only used the alarm a few times. I'm testing a Add-on for the Firefox browser that has a calendar & alarm & a to do list - called Reminder Fox I have it set to remind me of a appt tomorrow so I'll see how it works. but it only works if your browser is open - handy mainly for online times and if you have computer on & nearby most of the time. |
Jo*mar ... try - click on start, go to CONTROL PANEL .. and there should be an icon for Date and Time ... set the day and time ...
then, on the same page ... go to Start and Task Properties ... the window that opens up (on the bottom portion) ... click a checkmark to say that you want the date and time to be on the taskbar .. hope this helps! LOL, Sally (and your dog) ... you can also set your cell alarm song to something you like - I'm still laughing ... :Thats-Funneh:more about the 'potty' part!:ROTFLMAO: |
I have the date & time - just not an actual calendar type program built in on xp. One with appt setting features & notifications etc

Never seen any sort of Alarm Clock Function with Windows, it is usually a part of an Office Suite. You can get many programs that do it though at www.cnet.com Just search for alarm clocks.
