Have my little laser surgery scheduled for Oct 24th. He said my optic nerves look wonderful. The appointment was terrible though. It is like a factory, you go one place, have this measurement done, go to another stool and another person does another measurement, then go in the actual room where the doctor will see you. Another person puts the lovely drops in your eyes and then leave you alone for about 45 minutes. The eye doctors chair is highly uncomfortable! So I got up and paced in the room. I read, if you could call it reading, info booklet on Restasis, took the fake eye apart and put it back together again. I do not get up at 7:45 in the morning so I was exhausted. The doctor finally came in and of course to check the optic nerves he had to bring out the big lights and big lense and you can't blink. My nerves were totally frayed. So then they take me to the scheduler office. She was busy. So they put me in the lobby. the beautiful lobby with all the big wonderful windows. I didn't have the sunglasses yet so it was terrible in there. I know I should have called my husband at this time so he could drive me home but I would have had to sit there longer to wait on him. So I carefully drove myself home. He met me outside to see if I felt like going with him to his Moms nursing home and taking her out to lunch. Needless to say I said no and went to bed. It took ab out 8 hours for my pupils to get back to normal. In the meantime my right eye could hardly see. I was so glad that when my pupils were normal that my right eye was normal. My DH went out and got me some chocolate!

i think you should copy your post and send it to your dr and his office mgr.
they need to rethink the delivery of medical care in their practice; and put more emphasis on their patients.
