Default Ms people in florida

Do any of you belong to the ms actual group in cocoa florida ?
-
out of sheer loneliness i joined it today --
since i can no longer drive they are trying to find me a ride with a current member --
-
the young man who talked with me about the group sounded really nice and said they have a diversity of speakers --
-
luncheons -- day at the zoo etc --
i do not know anyone in the area --
thought it would be fun - and as my back heals i could do more than meetings at the library --
-
i used to belong to a group from my old hospital and made some good friends --
-
it is pretty far to drive out and have lunch -- lol !
-
hope your feeling best as you can today :-)

Good for you D, I hope you find a ride and enjoy yourself. I went to a neighborhood MS Support group too and I thoroughly enjoyed it and made friends, I still have today.

I hope you are feeling better soon..

Good for you DVORA! When I first got dxd 4 years ago, DH and I attended a few events, including a minor league baseball game and rafting. I am fortunate in that I can do things on my own, so if I get lonely its my own darned fault!

But if I were in your situation, that's EXACTLY what I would do! I hope you enjoy yourself and make lots of nice friends!
