Thanks to my Tysabri infusion, I got my usual Sinus infection. this time the doc called in the wrong antibiotic so I ended up at the emergy doc saturday being diagnosed with acute sinusitis and a bilateral inner ear infection. Antibiotics plenty of rest and fluids.

THEN... DD13 starts coughing, and hacking, and before you know it, I get a call form school she has a fever. Took her to doc today... surprise! she has a sinus infection and inner ear infection in both ears. Doc says I probably gave it to her. YAY.

Hoping DD7 doesn't catch it too.

And then.... I hear DD7 slip and fall in the shower at the exact moment that DD13 coughs until it makes her lose her dinner...on my sofa. All at the same time. Did I mention I am sick and supposed to be resting?


Resting. ha ha ha my doctors are the funniest people in the world.

And two drs appointmens and 2 calls to the other docs and 2 trips to the pharmacy and a trip to the grocery store...

I finally got the chicken soup brewing and I am going to go take a nap. And anyone that says otherwise is going to be shot on sight.

When you're a mom, sick or not, there is no such thing as rest! I hope you and your sick DD feel better soon. Did your other DD get hurt when she fell in the shower? I hope not.

No she survived the shower fall which was apparently caused by her deciding to use a half a bottle of DD13's shaving gel to clean her feet. Yup the fun and exciting times. DD13 is still sick and still running fevers so I get to take her back to the dr today. The Dr was smart enough to cal in some Tamiflu for DD7 after I explained to her that the house is sick and since DD7 has already had 4 surgeries for her ears (the child is notorious for ear infections) they didn't want to take any chances... but alas the coughing began this morning so it looks like I will be spending the weekend with 2 miserable little girls.

Oh yeah, did I mention my Dh2B's mom is in town and insists on coming to my house tonight to drop off some of DD13's things? The woman who hates me behind my back but smiles in my face? She will be coming while DH2B is at work. Here is to hoping both of my children express their sincerest feelings of love and warmth and smother his mom in hugs and kisses and they share their germs with her.

Yeah I know I am mean like that but hey, it will give her something else to talk to the 13 yr old about behind my back.
