Default Someday I'll learn

My husband is allergic to something in most commercial beverages. The only thing he can drink without breaking out in weeping hives is water, home made iced tea, beer and wine. We found he can also tolerate my home made grape juice. So, decided to buy some grapes and can the juice for him. It was less expensive to buy a big case of grapes rather than the little boxes so I bought a WHOLE LOT of grapes and canned them yesterday.

I wish I would learn to stop when I get that overwhelming tiredness. But no I keep pressing on and today I am paying the price. I feel like gravity is especially strong around me. My muscles feel so stiff it is a chore to move. I hope he appreciates the juice becasue I sure paid for it.

At least you didn't have to stomp the grapes to make wine..

I've been a bit spastic too. See my weather post.

Feel better soon and put that grapejuice in the basement to ferment,

Hi knittenkitten,
It is probably the corn syrup or the high fructose corn syrup. That is what is mostly in the store bought drinks. He should get tested. I had hives for ten years and it was soy and it's products, plus corn products too.

No matter how well our MS is doing, or not doing, when we overdo it, we all pay. It's a matter of pacing your day. Rest a bit or just sit and close your eyes for ten minutes. It helps.

If I go out shopping one day, I have to stay home the next and rest up. I don't push myself past worn out to exhaustion. Tomorrow you can always do the rest of the job you need to do. Why feel sick and tired? JMO
I hope you feel better now.

I hope you DH finds what he is allergic to. Is he itchy?

I took the day off work yesterday to finish canning the juice. We did 59 quarts. I hope my husband appreciates it. (I know he does - he was actually a big help).
