Red face Lesson For The Day

NEVER wear your reading glasses in the kitchen. Dirt shows up waaaaaay to easily when you can actually see what your counters and floors look like!

Remind me what MIL said after 1st cataract removed. Said she was so sorry she did it. Why? Cause now she could see how dirty the house was.

Or don't wear them if you're on a hot date and your glasses don't fit exactly right and you get a dent in the side of your nose where the glasses rest...

not sexy when you're trying to read the menu at a nice restaurant and then you take them off and you look like the Grand Canyon on the side of your nose...

Blush

I'm blind as a bat so I have to wear my glasses constantly. Normally too tired to put in contacts so I spend a boatload of money on glasses that aren't too bad. You know you're eyesight is really bad when you spend $400 at America's best when the glasses are buy 1 pair get one free or $400 at Lenscrafters and your vision benefits include $125 for frames and a free exam.

As a person with a DH who also is aging and we don't see so well in darkened restaurants, you can usually pull up menus on computer so I go in with idea of what I want and where to look.
