Default Our family would be in big trouble...
....if we all had to live together! My daughter wants to live in a city, preferably in Florida. My granddaughter wants to live in Vermont, preferably on Mt. Mansfield!

My husband wants to live in a little cabin on twenty acres (or more) about 5 miles past the end of a one lane dirt road. I want to live next to the state police barracks.

Sounds like compromise and/or long distance phone calls.

I have to say I could NOT live in the country, or on top of a mountain.

I like Florida, I'm near Tampa. The summers can be brutal, and the snowbirds can make me crazy, but the winters! Oh yeah! That's why I put up with the rest of it!

I like your DH's thinking! That almost describes what we want... isolated! Make it about 200 acres and a monolithic dome home with a full basement and I'd be one happy camper. And YES, I want cows, goats, chickens and a big garden.
