Default Will you be able to download Netflix on your old Nook color?

When the Nook Color 2 comes out with the enhanced features will there be an available download and will it be free?

Nook Tablet apparently comes pre-installed with Netflix.

http://www.dmwmedia.com/news/2011/11...us-and-pandora

I think the Kindle Fire has a Netflix app. I dont have it on my Kindle Fire yet, but I just looked to see if there's an app and it appears there is one. (didnt download it because I dont have a Netflix account)

Kindle Fire also has a Hulu Plus app too. (also didnt download it. I canceled my Hulu Plus account last spring)

and yes, I am a gadget junkie and got my Kindle Fire last week. (yay Dad! early Xmas present!!!)

The Fire is really really neat. I've been having tons of fun with it. I'm still looking at the Nook Tablet, but probably wont be getting one (gadget junkie here, but really, how many tablets do I need?)

I believe Netflix is available on all Platforms, I got it for Android. Amazon has more apps than the Android Market, especially Free Ones.

I have only the Nook Color and don't have the money to buy any other kind of electronic device, tablet, e-reader or phone. So i was hoping there would be some kind of upgrade available to me on my NC

Has B&N sent out the 1.4 update yet?

I googled and saw a mention or two of the update to the Nook Color that's going to allow people to watch Netflix on their NC's. Went to MoblieReads and found this thread that mentions it.

Although I have several electronics I do rely on others to help me do them! So I am a little computer illiterate. Does an upgrade automatlically come or will I have to go to the B&N website and sync it?

I dont know.

When I wanted to do an update for my Kindle, they sometimes come over the air, but if I didnt want to wait for Amazon to eventually send it to me, I could go to their website and download it myself. Maybe B&N does something similar?

This thread brings home how techno challenged I've become. Nook to me is something between me and my wife and as often as possible. Kindle would be used to get a camp fire started. Android is a humanesque synthetic robot. Netflix is what you do at night while camping to get the bugs off your tent window. Hulu is a round hoop introduced in 1957 as a toy from WHAMO and a platform is a wooden float in the lake you swim to and dive off.

Man! I'm so confused just looking through the Best Buy Sunday insert.
