Tongue Jimmy John's

Well, I'm in trouble. A new Jimmy John's establishment just opened less than a mile from my house......and they DE-LIVER!!

Has anyone here ever eaten there? How's their food? I looked up their menu on the Internet and it sounds good.

Should I keep them on speed-dial on my phone?!

We do Jimmy John's once in a while.

The sandwiches are very filling. When we do them, I typically
skip a meal that day.

Be aware that they recently had ANOTHER sprouts contamination.
This is the 3rd one.

So don't get sprouts on the sandwiches!
I used to all the time..I guess I am lucky I survived.
Also the french bread is much better than the regular bread which
tends to fall apart.

I've only done the Italian sub and the Beach one (sprouts)

http://www.foodpoisonjournal.com/foo...o-jimmy-johns/

I find their stuff is pretty fresh on the average, but very very
filling. If you get a full size order, save 1/2 for later IMO.

Our son loves the gooey drippy sauce ones...but I avoid those.
Sorry.

I've eaten at Jimmy John's here in Omaha a few times. The only thing I dont like about Jimmy John's is that if you go to the actual restaurant to eat, they have the music playing SO loud that you cant hear yourself think and it's really hard to order anything at the counter because you cant hear anything but blasting rock music. I like rock music, even blasting rock music, but not when I'm trying to order food and cant understand what the order taker is saying! It's been like that at the 3 different locations I've been to. So it wasnt just a one off at one place.

The sandwiches I've gotten there have always been good. I've never had them deliver anything tho. I see their delivery drivers in my neighborhood all the time, so they're pretty popular here.

Our Jimmy Johns is also very LOUD. We don't eat in there ever!

We pick up the sandwiches and LEAVE. It must be to
deter people eating in.

I have been known to ask restaurants to lower the volume ...at times. Mostly when they are less crowded.

But since Jimmy John's is carry out mostly we just split...

In the college towns, there are many eating inside...and we didn't have that experience of LOUD. So who knows?
Our Jimmy Johns is earsplitting. I don't know how the employees stand it!

Well, I can't handle LOUD so I know I'll be using their delivery service.

I'm thinking more and more eating establishments will begin delivering soon. I read somewhere that Burger King was trying it out in some state.....can't remember where. I doubt I'd ever order from BK but I can see where alot of people would.

I'm glad nobody delivers to my neighborhood. I'd weigh 700 pounds.

They deliver occasionally to my work. I haven't had them in awhile, maybe we'll do a group order again someday soon.
