I hadn't seen them since Christmas. I talk to them on the phone all the time and occasionally do a Skype call but it's not the same. We changed things up a bit this time. We stayed in a hotel! So we spent all day yesterday with them, well after 1 PM and them got over to their house around 11, went and picked my duaghter up and had lunch, saw where her new job is then it was just us and the grandkids. Went to a park, saw Beauty and the Beast in 3D and then to the play area in the mall and then met for supper. The five year old practically fell asleep at the table. Then we all hugged and went our separate ways. Always glad to see them, always glad to get back home! Next time we will see them the oldest one has a main part in a musical so we HAVE to see that!
