My husband has had them for many, many years. He is experiencing a lot of debilitating pain around his knee which doesn't seem to be arthritis, doesn't respond to Aleve and heating pads. he saw the doctor today and xrays of his knee were taken to rule out arthritis of the knee. The other possibility is this big wad of varicose vein which is on his knee. So he said that if it is not arthritis and xray doesn't show anything wrong that he would need treatment for the varicose veins. As an RN I know what was done years ago and I men YEARS. So what is the current treatment. I have ggogled it and they talk about mainly laser treatment and some kind of medicine. Any personal experience with it?
