Default Grim Reper check in- George Lindsey aka Goober Pyle

To go along with Erins post about remembering old TV, how many of us remember fondly the Andy Griffith show when Gomer's cousin (or brother I don't remember which) took over in his place. God rest your soul Goober Pyle.

I still watch Andy Griffith on the TVLand channel. Goober was such a fun character. I really don't remember him from anything else.

I read that Andy Griffith said they had spoken a few days before George passed. He said the last thing they said to each other was "I love you". He said that as they got older saying that wasn't such a strange thing.

I remember Gomer a little better than Goober, but they both tickled me..

RIP Goober..
