I already have the iPad2. I havent been impressed with the iPad 3 yet. (I've heard a few things)

If I dont end up getting a new monitor for my computer, I might ask for the Kindle Touch, you know, because two Kindles, a Kindle Fire, a Kobo e-reader and the iPad2 arent enough e-readers for me. /sarcasm

Too tired to go shopping for anything lately, so I'm just waiting till either I find something interesting to ask for, or for my dad to pick something out to give to me. I've been putting all the necessary shopping off lately because I'm exhausted. I need new shoes, and clothes, and we need food and I'm just too tired to go do any of it.

The new iPad has a much better display than the II. Also, if you get it with Verizon service built in you get 4G LTE service which is superior to AT&T service (and also why Verizon iPads sell better in the aftermarket than AT&T).

If I did get the iPad3, I'd be getting Wifi only. My dad has already told me that if he buys an iPad3, it's his. An iPad3, even with the least amount of memory, costs way more than I was planning on spending.

My dad just ordered curtains for the basement (where my bedroom is) so that we can try to insulate the basement a little better so that all the cool air in the summer and the warm air in the winter doesnt end up escaping out the big windows that are in the back door and on the back wall, so I'm not pushing it on getting something for my birthday yet. Gonna save it for later this summer and see if there's anything cool coming out from the gadget world that I might want to get. Or maybe a set of fancy knitting needles.

My dad at least let me pick the fabric for the new curtains, which means I let the decorator show me 3 different fabrics and then I picked the one that she thought was the best. I'm not trusting my eyeballs right now after having that vision problem. The whole color vision weirdness thing. I'm trusting the decorator on that one.

Our weekend just got a little sad. My dad's aunt that I mentioned earlier who was not doing well died this afternoon around 6. (she was 99 or 100yrs old!) So, I guess there's going to be a funeral this weekend. I dont go to funerals (bad experience when I was very young. I apparently developed a phobia) I am however going to order some really really nice looking flowers for her. Maybe a spray of roses or something.

I wasnt close to my dad's aunt, she was nice, just never was around her all that much growing up. (She was my grandma's sis-in-law and she didnt get along very well with my grandmother, I tended to side with grandma) So, I dont feel that bad about not going to the funeral. Not sure if my dad is going to go or not.

Sorry to hear about your aunt, Erin.

Here's wishing you some sleep for a belated birthday present.

Belated happy birthday, Erin! Sorry that a funeral is part of the picture, though.
