Vivid dreaming can come from some supplements.

B6 and B12 are well know vivid dream recalling vitamins.
B12 is used to make melatonin, our sleep hormone.

I tend to have vivid dreams and have to be very careful what
I expose myself to media wise. I cannot watch certain horror type movies anymore, or violence, or chase/stalking movies. Sometimes even news items will result in
vivid unwanted dreams. The news items with their corresponding
crime events concerning the new designer drugs --bath salts-- resulted in an wanted nasty dream for me.

Sometimes vivid dreams can be the result of low blood sugar at night. A nightmare may signal changes in glucose utilization for some people.

My dream last night was kind of fun! It began with me driving a car (not mine) on dirt roads, racing around corners and stirring up dust (I live on a gravel road - lots of dust). Then it switched to me on some kind of mobility pad (like a flying carpet?) that had the Go switch on bottom or on the back. I was in a house with many stairs. It wasn't my house. The way it was set up if you didn't turn to go out the door you'd go into some guy's bedroom (which I did). I suggested he put up a baby gate to keep people out.

Next place I was in I was going up a steep staircase. There were 2 women ahead of me and wanted to catch up to them so they wouldn't either A)let the door close in my face, or B)be inconvenienced by having to wait for me with the door open. Somehow using the Go switch with one hand made it faster and I figured that out.

Then my dog woke me up wanting her breakfast.

Maybe all the stairs were indicative of obstacles I've overcome?

Horses often reflect ambition. Barns symbolize the status quo or feeling you have everything you need. Perhaps, you feel that you want to get started with something really badly and someone else is not willing to try anything new.

I'm not ambitious, and I certainly don't have everything I need.

Let me rephrase that: I have vague ambitions, and I have what I need right now to live.

There are some projects I'd like to start, and my BF is not open to trying new vegetables.

I guess that sort of can be made to fit!? Thanks, chase!

What a coincidence ~ I just cancelled a Chase account. :lookaround:

Ok, have fun with last night's dream!

I was in a Super KMart (it was multi-level; more like a shopping mall). At a Picadilly-style restaurant I ordered lunch and 2 whole pies. One pecan and one pumpkin. Everything was in to-go boxes. Rick Santorum (yes, the ex-presidential candidate) was making an appearance. In the rush to see him my lunch got spilled. A young girl with dark curly hair cleaned it up.

Then I left the 2 pies somewhere. And I couldn't find the friends I was with. (I did find them) As we were leaving I was still looking around for the pies. I saw a woman about to pick them up but knew that because of my MS I couldn't move fast enough to catch her.

I remember thinking I'd spent $29 and change for lunch and 2 pies and got neither.

Figure that one out!

I understand KMart - the one closest to me closed and I just noticed a few days ago. Rick Santorum - I see him on the news making appearances here in Iowa. The rest - I dunno!

Sparky you are strange. I will be interested to see what some one comes up with an explanation for you.

The day after MIL had such trouble with constipation in the hospital I had quite a belly ache in my dream but I think that is simple. I just love my MIL

My dreams weren't always this complex. In the past they normally incorporated simple things that occurred over the previous few days. And they don't always remain so strong in my memory. Quite often I awake with only the essence of the dream - no real memory of the substance.

Oh, how I miss being able to pick up the phone and and talk to a certain someone about my dreams.:Ponder:
