Only 40 more minutes until our traditional Saturday night fight over the TV. Here's how it goes at 7:00:

Me: Do you want to watch Ronnie Reno/Marty Stuart, or baseball?

He: I don't care

Me: Neither do I, so take your pick

He: Whatever you want to watch is fine

Me: I like both, so it's up to you

He: It doesn't matter!

Me: Well, let's see if the music shows are repeats or not...

He: Well, if they're repeats, we might as well watch the game

just wanted to let you know that your post made me burst out laughing (which by the way means I had to clean up my coffee splattered keyboard before I could reply )

You two sound just like my husband and I when going out for a bite to eat. We are all roses and sunshine that ends up in 2 grumpy old farts. Neither of us will choose a place/type of food - but we dont want the others suggestions (if we suggest anything). How about a burger? Nah. What do you want? I dont care - you pick. No, you pick. I dont care.....

My solution for you guys is to buy a 2nd TV.

Yep, togetherness in the bed (sometimes) but we had separate TVs in separate rooms for TV watching. My TV was called the idiot box.. his was called education..lol

He liked football, baseball, nascar/racing, education and shoot em ups/westerns. I liked mystery movies, HGTV. some sit.coms, true life movies, political mysterys and detective/lawyer shows. We both like NatGeo and Discovery.
