I'm LMHO at the thought of old nimble fingers here, making those bows and stuff, without making a big jumbled torn up mess, that noone would dare use as sanitary..

Under. Has to be as the cabinet that holds the toilet paper holder is real close to the toilet. Otherwise, I would prefer over.

if it had a print, I would want it over to see it, but since mine is plain old white I plop it under so the cat wont unroll it. it also tears more easily and rolls better when hung under (imho)

I vote for over in both TP and paper towels. The design is visible then, of course they don't print designs on TP anymore. It's easier for me to just "whack" the roll if it's over to get it moving.

when my DH and I first moved in together we had this "discussion" several times. Some of them turned in to little snip-fests

Finally I said "Since I am apparently the only human being in this house capable of actually replacing the empty TP, or the paper towels, it was going to be 'over' and now the arguing is over, too!"

I used to go "under" by my husband insists it has to be "over" because thats the way the hotels do it.
Because I'm not OCD about these things...I let him have it "over"

I admit that I'm a little OCD about it..
I am aggrivated, if I put it under by mistake, until I change it. I think I can be a big girl and use it under, but noooooo, I must change it.

I'll be taking up a collection now..
