Smile Toilet Paper....Over or Under???

Okay everyone!!! I think most of missed National Toilet Paper Day...it was last Friday....

So here is my question...which is proper or at least your favorite way to have your paper go....over or under?

I was taught that under was the proper way, to keep germs from the top.. But I use over because it's easier, so there.

Scary video lol!!

I vote over and I just don't see how under is the way to keep less germs. If the start of the roll is far enough from the top of the roll or the roll holder and you tear it off before you get to the roll no clean roll is touched by dirty fingers.

I took my nurses training in a Presbyterian hospital nurses school. One of the very first graduates was still alive and her family was a very large donor to the hospital and school of nursing. So this lady or Deaconess was guarunteed a place to stay for the rest of her life. So she had a very nice two bedroom suite in the dorm, Yes, we had to live with her. Anyway, she was famous for not checking herself when she left the bathroom, whether at the dorm or the hospital for having a long train of toilet paper coming out from underneath her floor length uniform. And pity the person who saw her and din't tell her yet you were very afraid to be the one to tell her.

I vote "over". That's just the way my Momma always did it. And the way I always did it.

And I figured that if I was the one who always had to put a new roll of toilet paper on the roll then I was going to be the one to decide how it should go.

Thumbs up

I vote for "over" too.

I really love those TP photos of the woven subjects! What a great idea for a classy guest bathroom!

Wouldn't last long in a house with cats however...LOL

Over. I don't like having to hunt for the end! When the paper is over, the end is right in sight.

Unless you have a cat that likes to play with it. If it's under then you don't wind up with a pile of TP on the floor. But that's the only reason to ever hang it under!

I keep my bathroom doors closed! Otherwise the cats would have a hayday!

Ours is over. But if Spookie wants to play with it nothing except a closed door will stop her. And she's almost 3.
