The original attribution seems to be on a radio show, Live with it, by Jim Thompson.

Well, here is a true Taco Bell story from a 42 year old woman with holes in her brain:

I pulled up to the drive through lane and it was pretty long. It was hot, so I had the window up with the a/c on. I decided to clean out my center console while I was waiting. I kept pulling forward as the cars in front of me moved. Suddenly, I realized I was the second car from the window. I looked back and realized I was far from the order menu.

Crud! I missed ordering my food. I wonder how long someone tried to get my attention while I was stopped obliviously in front of the menu? I was so embarrassed that I just waved sheepishly and drove on through behind the car in front of me and never went back to that Taco Bell.

I'd laugh if it didn't just make more wrinkles.

I know I should not get a laugh out of anothers misfortune, but that was a whopper. It is good to know I am not alone in loosing some of my marbles. Last time I vacumned the house, I never found any of them. ginnie
