I saw on the Weather Channel that the mayor of New York has ordered evacuation by a certain time of, I think, section A in New York. Where in the big scheme of things does the statue stand in the path of this storm? I know human life is more important than the statue but was just wondering.

Evac zones are made by the potential for danger. I'm one block in from the Gulf of Mexico, evac zone A. I'm gonna get clobbered by a storm. Same in NY. The authorities will say all A zone needs to be out by a certain time. You better be gone, cause they won't come get you if you change your mind. They can make you sign a paper saying you are aware of this, and your only way out might be in a body bag.

As for the Statue, she's out in the harbor been there a long time. Probably take a bad beating, hope its ok. As everybody else.

Oh, forgot to say Ginnie lives on an island about an hour south of me. The whole island would have to go inland.
