It's not a "saying" but I really hate it when folks tell me they know someone who was cured of their MS.

I no longer try to explain that they probably never had MS to begin with because there is no cure for it. I just smile and say "oh, wow".

I like being told I look good. Better than a lot of alternatives.

Only people who care bother to mention some "new thing" they heard about MS. Even if it's something I consider off the wall, I appreciate the thought.

So that leaves "I have MS but it doesn't have me". Sorry folks; MS has me. Might not be obvious to everyone, but it is here to stay.
