Default Merry Christmas to me!!!!!

I had the double mastectomy Mon. Surgeon said he got it all except for one node that was too close to an artery, and that would be blasted with radiation. I cried. I feel like such a great weight, worry has been lifted.

So I came home Tues afternoon, I feel great, no pain. Itchy, hard to brush teeth, have no hair to mess with. Bored, want to go out.

Thanks everybody for your thoughts and prayers.

Sounds like you're doing very good. You only had to stay overnight? I'm glad you feel so good and glad this is behind you now. Don't overdo......you may feel great but exhausting yourself might not be a good idea right away. Let others wait on you......take it easy and enjoy the holiday.

Good for you and yes, Merry Christmas to you! What a gift ~ a pain-free surgery, very brief hospital stay, and excellent prognosis!
