Default "Call the Midwife"

No I don't need a midwife and if I did you all would have known long before today as it would certainly have been a surprise and shock to me.

Anyhow, I stumbled upon this BBC series and just loved it. The new season starts in the US this coming weekend or the next depending on where you live. It's a great series about nurses/midwives in London in the 1950's. Is anyone watching it?

If I get it on any of my channels, I will. Sounds fun.

Tricia, I changed the channel to PBS just as this was coming on so I thought I'd watch it. I liked it.....before I promptly fell asleep! I woke up a few minutes after it was over. I was enjoying it, too, so don't know why I fell asleep. Oh well, I'll try again next time.

Kelly - You can watch it online. Click on the link I posted and it will bring you to the PBS site for "Call the Midwife" and then choose the episode(s) you want to watch. The good thing is that if you fall asleep while watching it, you can just watch it again.

Sally - I watch a lot of things online. I have a Roku streamer but it only streams from certain websites as well as Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu Plus. But there are so many other free things to watch online. I use my computer for those things. Yesterday, I had a brilliant idea.

I had an old computer that was just sitting around. I used it for work until I got my laptop. I can't get rid of it until I completely get rid of it until I wipe it clean. So, yesterday, I hooked it up to the TV. My TV now acts as my monitor for the old computer. The only bad thing, I don't have the right cables to hook up the sound. I'm working on it though.

Season 2 doesn't start till Sunday the 31st. So how
did you watch it, Kelly?? Huh Huh?

I just watched Season 1 - 1st episode. Loved it loved

Nobody told me about it last year, so will be watching

You're welcome Sally. I'm glad you liked it so far. There's only 6 episodes in the 1st season so it doesn't take too long to get through it. And, it does say the new season starts on Sunday but I checked my local listing and it shows that it starts April 7th here.
