Default Seriously simple one pot spaghetti

One Pot Spaghetti

You must try this just for the ease!

I used the Sweet Basil spaghetti sauce for this one.

What you need:
•1 lb. ground beef (or sausage or both)
•1 onion, finely diced
•1 clove garlic, minced (I also added mushrooms, green pepper, black olives)
•1 can chicken broth (or homemade)
•1 (26 oz.) can spaghetti sauce
•1/2 cup water
•8 oz. spaghetti, broken into pieces
•1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Directions:
In a large pot, brown ground beef with onion (and any extra stuff you like), add garlic in last minute or so; drain if needed.

Add broth, spaghetti sauce, and water. Bring to a boil.

Add spaghetti noodles broken into 3" pieces or so and reduce heat.

Cook, covered, for about 20-23 minutes or until spaghetti is cooked. Stir occasionally and add more water, if needed. Stir in Parmesan

Except for the chicken broth, I used to make that all the time.
Family loved it.

Thanks for posting this, Karilann! I have been hoping to come across (as in-not actively searching) for a recipe that cooks the pasta right in the sauce. Wasn't willing to experiment!
