Default Ostrich Live Cam

I've been watching an Ostrich Cam, since the hatching of these little guys.
Popcorn, Rascal and Skippy (who, unfortunately passed away a few days
ago, from a flu bug.

Below are Popcorn and Rascal, 1st time outside for a jaunt and here
is their inside a farmhouse, nest cam..

Enjoy.....Keep in mind that these little 1 ft
tall guys/gals?,could grow to 8/10 ft tall!!!!

Those little chicks are so very sweet.

We don't have ostriches here in Australia but we do have emus which look a little similar. Emus are our flightless birds and the chicks are about 6 inches high when they first hatch, growing quickly to about 6 foot high within 5-6 months.

No webcam to show you, but I did find a YouTube camera instead.

Koala, was just thinking about you. Being at different time zones, we
don't see enough of you. How are you doing?

Thanks for the Emu video. They are very much like Ostriches....
strutting and pecking....so cute!!

Thank you Sal, I am around. I drop in at various times during my day but I'm usually online the most when you're tucked up in bed, sound a sleep.

I'm doing OK at the moment, although I have had some rather difficult times (health-wise) in my life over this past year or so. It's definitely been a struggle, but at the moment I'm doing OK and feeling positive.

My husband took me on a trip to far North Queensland (the top of Australia on the Pacific Ocean side) and to the Great Barrier Reef in August and that was just fabulous. Wonderful places with so much to see. We're saving like mad to try and do another trip like that some time soon.
