Default Moving back home!!

I am sooo happy!! My dh is putting in for his transfer so we can finally move back to Indiana!! Well, its not our original home seeing as we originally come from Chicago, but seeing as IL is a bit to pricey with me being on SSDI now, and we do have 2 out of 3 kids living in IN, well IN here we come!!

We will officially be back home in April!! I have tons of packing to do, and a ton of fatigue to fight off to get it done. WOW, the fatigue is crazy any more. Probably doesn't help TN is doing nothing but raining where we are. Im just going to be glad when its all over with!

Kids are coming down to help load the truck and then help drive us back home and unload the truck. They are a blessing, and while the kids are helping load and unload, I'll be having fun distracting the grand babies Those 3 precious little girls!

Yeah, back to Hoosier land. Where in Indiana if I may ask. I live in extreme southwestern Indiana. We share the Ohio river with Illinois and Kentucky down here.

This is fantastic, KL! Having a plan can do wonders for your psyche! I'm happy for you. Take it easy packing. Sit as much as possible - maybe collect a bunch of stuff around you to work on so you don't have to get up and down a lot.

Liquor stores are an excellent source for packing boxes. Sturdy, and not too big.

Your brain is going to be occupied for MONTHS! Packing, unpacking, decorating...oh my!

Moving day is alittle up in the air, but no later than April 1st. We plan on being in our new place in IN by April 1st. We will be in the Lafayette area. I really don't want to be directly in Lafayette being it is a college town and being in Knoxville TN here it is a college town and I HATE it, we are going to try one of the surrounding towns. We will know with a very short period of time here just exactly what and where we're ending up. Im just so excited!!

I'll have to look at a map of Indiana and see how far you are. I'm sure it isn't close. WOW, just checked, 725 miles!!!!

Wow doydie, I didn't even imagine Indiana was that big, but I guess it is!! LOL Its like traveling thru IL from top to bottom. However, at least IN is interesting to travel thru, IL is nothing but trees. We use to travel 57 to 55 to go to West TN to visit family and it was the most boring drive ever!! We live in East TN now, so we have the mountains to drive thru and then KY to go thru which is the mountains too and then flat lands of IN but at least its not too boring. LOL
