Excellent! She looks a lot more active, vigilant and watchful now that she has a potential offspring. She is showing signs of a great parent .

That snow should melt quickly, starting today. (whew!) This has been the 9th coldest winter in Iowa; coldest in about 35 years. My electric bill - ! Wish I could just snuggle down like the eagles.

She is indeed a great parent, Erika. For those who don't know, this pair has been together since 2007. They have successfully raised to fledging 14 eaglets.
