I love those names! LOL Weezie is named for the sound she makes all the time. She rarely meows (except in the car) and instead says Whheeeeee! to us. So I named her Weezie. The vets all think that we named her that because she might have a lung problem and wheezes! But actually Weezie is a nick for Louise as well. Weezie is my avatar right now.;) |
Wow!! Thank you all for the ideas. What fun.

I like MacDuff.... but isn't that Scottish?

I think if I ever did get another dog, I'd be naming it after characters in books. I'd like to name a dog "Sherlock", since I'm a big fan of the originals books, and also a fan of the British tv show. (more than a fan of the tv show...obsessed fangirl is more like it)
Sherlock literally means "fair-haired", and is Old English, but I've also read that it's Irish. |
Names are like literature and love - we are always surprised at the choices of others.
