Family friend thinking of getting an Irish Troodle and I wanted to offer some Irish inspired names in the event they move forward
Ollis O'Neil or Ollis O'Malley I think I like the 5 syllables better than 4. Seems more regal. Ideas? |

How about Seamus O'Nme? Or Paddy O'Dorr? Sorry, too punny?

The Irish word for "dog" is "madadh", which is pronounced as "mah-doo". Just throwing that out there as a suggestion.
I like ironic dog names. My last dog weighed 150 pounds, and his name was Tiny. (Full name was TinyMonsters) I already private messaged you about the weird coincidence in the names in your first post. I told my parents. They got a giggle out of it.

I think Angus is a Scottish name.

I think if I ever did get another dog, I'd be naming it after characters in books. I'd like to name a dog "Sherlock", since I'm a big fan of the originals books, and also a fan of the British tv show. (more than a fan of the tv show...obsessed fangirl is more like it)
Sherlock literally means "fair-haired", and is Old English, but I've also read that it's Irish.
