Happy Mother's Day to you, too, Sally.

My youngest son and his wife had a Mother's Day breakfast for me and her parents and grandparents this morning. Oldest DS came, too. It was so good and they really outdid themselves. They had omelets, fried potatoes, sausages, bacon and a yummy breakfast casserole. The men were cooking and all the ladies got to sit and talk. It was very good but I am so stuffed now. I think I'll have to take a nap in a little bit.

I actually went upstairs to see the babies room. I had not climbed that staircase in probably over a year. I was so proud that I didn't trip or stumble once! I wasn't fast but made it in a fairly respectable time!

What are you doing today, Sally?

Happy Mother's Day to you too, Sally! I hope your DD and grands were able to come by and see you today.

Kelly - AWESOME! I'm so glad you made it up and down the stairs. I'm sure just accomplishing that made you feel good. I'm also glad you enjoyed your time with your boys.

DD22 was working today but called me after work. DD24 came over and we met my mom, sister, brother, SIL, nephews, and niece for a late brunch. It was so good to see everyone.

Kelly that sounds wonderful that they would do that and al the men cleaned up!

We had a nice lunch. My sister's son grilled pork steaks for us all today and all the men very quickly cleaned up. Got a call from both my brothers and my oldest daughter. Our youngest daughter was with us. I am so glad that my youngest is past the point where she feels she needs to send those chocolate covered strawberried, I think they are called Sherries berries?????, or a pretty plant or a large iced chocolate chip cookie that are so popular. She needs to keep her money for herself. Her greatest gift tome would be to get out of her present home and get somewhere nice. But I am very proud that she accepts where she is and takes care of it budgets, scrimps and saves to make ends meet. She is such a special young woman and deserves more out of life. She came over and mowed our yard tonight for us. Now granted there was no one at the dog park and she needed to let her dogs run so she used our back yard for that while she was mowing. It was comical watching this big boxer chasing the lawn mower. Her big ol' mutt decided to take a flying leap off of out 5 foot deck and strained his ankle. I guess he will know better next time.

The trouble is that, my DD had her Birthday celebration on Saturday and was
recovering, LOL, on Mother's Day. She came over this morning with a card
and a box of Esther Price candy..yummmm. Calls and cards from SSons.
