I wanted Amanda to win but I do have to admit that it was Parvati that played the wickedest game -- she got the girl alliance together and did manage to manipulate soooo many people! But what's up with Alexis being so convinced that she would do great things with the money? I never got a philanthropist vibe from Parvati. I wish that Amanda had taken Cerie, if only for the reason that she could have taken home $$ to her family. I was glad to see that Amanda and Ozzy are together though -- I LOVE Ozzy!!

So glad you brought up Natalie -- those questions were absolutely bizarre! I agree that she seems to have a little crush on Parv. I thought Natalie was scary in general. There's something she said (more than once) that I thought was really freaky -- something like "I'll slap him like his mother!" Anyone catch that? Girlfriend has issues!!! :p

What song is that?

I voted 30 times on my cell, for the Cook-ster. He Rocks! Big Time

I have a limited amount of messages I pay for. I'm saving most of them for the finale. :D

I can not believe that I haven't posted since Saturday night! We were supposed to go to Lexiongton on Suncay to see the grandkids. But our electric went out 5 AM Sunday morning and was off for 10 hours. With our recent problems with our lower level flooding we didn't want to leave. But my daughter said that our not comimg may have saved our lives. She said they had straiight line rain with sustained winds up to 60 MPH. So we got up bright and early Monday morning and made a day trip of it. So I have been kind of washed out since then. i usually sleep for a bout a full 24 hours after this little trip but I had an appointment for my phototherapy for my psoriasis Tuesday afternoon. You have to take these pills made out of pure gold (just kidding0 90 minutes prior to the treatment so I didn't get my sleep in.

So I am just now getting on the computer!

How about those reality shows this week!
Survivor - Was hoping that Amamnda would win but it looks like she wins Ozzy instead. I think Natalies head needs to be examined. Maybe some of the saline leaked out of her implants and into her brain. James got the $100,000 last season also. Plus he got paid for every night he was on the show. So he isn't lacking for money. Plus strangers ask him to lift up his shirt just so they can see his abs! I know I would! It looked like everyone had made up by the reunion except Joel and Chet. Joel couldn't even look over at Chet when Jeff was asking questions about them. For those of you that can get it, 'Life at the Ponderosa' was a really interesting part of the Survivor message board.

DWTS - The best 3 couples are remaining. Next Monday will be good. I'm interested to see what the proffesionals come up with for thier free dance. You have to love those kids. All of them have so much potential. I know that the votin was supposed to be for the most entertaining, but I just loved the older couple.

AI - Felt sorry for Seyesha. But she left so graciously. Even thoug I'm not a rocker, my vote goes to David C. His version of "The first time...' was awesome. Speaking of noteworthy, did you see Simons face while Fantasia was 'singing'? I can't imagine even all three judges letting her go through to Hollywood performing like that.

America's Next top Model - Whitney won!!! WooHoo. A plus size. If they call her a plus size, I'm not really sure what they would call me though.

I'm still watching A Farmer Takes a Wife. Can't remember any names but I think he really likes the pretty brunette. It's so funny watching some of those city girls trying to do typical farm things like driving a tractor in high heels.

Nashville Star is going to start pretty soon. I have never watched but it's on NBC this year so I'm sure I will. So you think you can dance, America's got talent and American Gladiators is also coming up soon. I have to have something since all my regular shows are having their finales.

So many of the regulars on my crime dramas are quitting:(

I agree with eveything you said, Doydie..:D

Glad you're back home and rested up...We missed you.

How is the photothingy working for your psoriasis?

Hi All!! I'm Stumbling Inn -- well actually rolling! Isn't it amazing all the reality shows that have been on and the new ones to begin? I agree that David Cook should be the new AI. Thanks for the up-date on America's Next Top Model. Missed it this week but am glad to hear Whitney won. Finally someone who isn't skin and bones!

Watched Coyote Ugly this year too, but it didn't seem as good to me as other years. Looking forward to SYTYCD but then sometimes it gets boring after awhie with basically the same type dances over and over. How about Can You Duet? It's on the Country Music Channel. Naomi Judd is one of the judges, but I keep forgetting to watch it. Of course Top Chef is in full swing now too. That's always good for some personality clashes.

Keep on "stumblin'"!!!!

DOYD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just going to send the dogs out looking for you. Have missed seeing your posts. Sorry about the trip fizzling out, but you are safe and that's all that matters.

I want David C to win also. David A is so young and I really think he needs to mature more. He is a lil sweetie though and will no doubt have a huge career.

I am secretly glad that most of my reality shows are over for now; I just seemed glued to the TV too much.

Altho, Keeping up w/the Kardashian's was great last night.

Carry on all.... :grouphug:

I can't tell if the phototherapy is working yet. Since I haven't seen the doctor since starting it, I have no idea how long to expect any kind of results. It's just really wierd standing up in this booth stark naked for 6 minutes! I don't know if they can adjust the intensity of the lights or not. Right now I get through it by putting on my cooking vest about an hour before going in and loading up on the ice water. As soon as I get out I sit (stark naked) and drink more ice water before putting lotion all over my body and getting dressed. So I am pretty tired when i get done. There have been a couple of days that my husband is off and takes me so that saves me from having to drive after.

I started American Gladiator tonight!!!!!! Yeah, another reality show. They have several new challenges and 'gladiators'. Both of last years winners are on now as gladiators. Tonight they had a guy that was a paraolympic medalist. He had a prosthetic leg. Now they have those special legs that allow them to run. He had high hopes for himself but he was an inspiration just watching him.

doydie 05-19-2008 11:56 PM

Wow, DWTS was amazing tonight. Why was this the second season I watched this? Why didn't any of you tell me about this show earlier? Kristie deserved her 60 points and more. I think the men have the advantage because they have the professionals shaking what God gave them and it takes they viewers eye off the stars dancing. But Kristie has to do it herself. I do admire Christian for staying in there and doing as good as he is with just using his one arm. I wish him all the luck Friday when he has his surgery.

American Gladiator is tough this year. They have several new challenges and the Eliminator does just that. It seperates the boys from the men. or tonight it seperated the men from the women. And the women came out ahead. They take the times from all the winners and the 6 (I think) best times all go to the semifinals. That guys time tonight of about 10 minutes won't let him in.
