I don't like it that everything is cancelled when we even have 2 inches of snow. I have a friend that lives in Connecticut and they have gotten about 6 feet and she still goes to work everyday. Ours is melting really fast due to complete sunshine every day

I have been sick since Wednesday night. It think it is just a virus - mainly a head cold. But I have been running a temperature since Thursday. I felt so weak and light headed Thursday night and my temp was only 100.4 I wasn't sure if my legs would hod me. My normal temp usually runs low (97.5). My sister has been bringing me groceries and some pretty tulips, and of course chicken soup. My temp was down to 99.4 this morning so I am hoping I am starting to get better. Now if I could just breath!

Oh I'm so sorry Barb. You must rest, drink lots of liquids and take care
of yourself. Hope you feel better soon.

I hope it's nothing too serious. You most likely need a strong AB.

Hope Doc helps you to get better soon.

I feel a bit like a whimp after reading Jappy's post about lung cancer.:-(

Doctor thought I now have a nasty sinus infection. Prescribed antibiotics and a steroid pack. I haven't taken any steroids for almost 8 years so I'm wondering if it might lessen any of my ms symptoms for awhile. After just one day, my headache is improving and I can breath a bit.

Sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind. And this is the only place I can say that. I'm applying for jobs I likely won't get because of MS and/or age. Also, my MS is getting worse, my legs are getting worse. I want to forge ahead and do what my mind tells me I can do, but then each day, my body reminds me of my limitations. DH is being run through the mill with this, but it is good for his soul. I feel like I'm on a roller coaster.

Thumbs up

Wiz

Well, I've had a very productive day today already.

I put a corned beef brisket in the crockpot with carrots, red potatoes and onions. I'll let it cook on low till this evening. I'll cook the cabbage tomorrow so it won't get so mushy. I also put on a big pot of fresh snap beans. I just love fresh veggies.

My kids are coming over tomorrow for lunch/dinner. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

On another note I have broken one plate and spilled my coffee this morning. Oh, and I almost lost my balance and fell out the back door to the patio while I was feeding the outside kitties. I didn't fall but I probably would have caused myself less pain if I had. Trying to catch myself and keep from falling must have looked comical to anyone who might have been watching! I think I pulled a muscle in my side/back.

But......I was able to get a broom and dustpan and sweep up the broken pieces of the plate off the living room floor. I mopped up the spilled coffee and made myself another cup. And you know what? I was SO thankful I was still able to do those chores! I kept thinking "what if I wasn't able to do these simple tasks?". That made the cleanup easier and made me thankful for the simple, everyday things like sweeping and mopping up spills. Not to imply it was easy.......it was definitely a test of patience and diligence. Plus a good balance workout. I'll definitely be more careful in the future.
