The visit went really well. I did have some difficulties talking, so I explained the word and thought blocking. She was very understanding as always, and I didn’t even cry.

Thanks to everybody who helped me get through this. I love this group so much. You have come through for me again.

Marion, your words encourage me so. My big sister (I'm 58, she's 68 but I become the little sister!) is coming to visit Jan. 31. She was a kind big sister, bought 12 year old me mini hot pants (which I never dared to wear in public!) and later shared her midis and boots with me (my, that was a long time ago). She and her husband will be spending the night also.

I'm so happy the visit went well.

Sometimes the anxiousness we feel when we think something might not go well is much worse than the actual event itself.

Hopefully you were able to educate her on this particular symptom and she'll be more observant and understanding in the future with you and anyone else she may know that has this issue.

Thank you for updating us! I'm so glad it went well and just love the hotpants story from Kicker too.

I had a pair of those short short one piece pant suits I wore on my honeymoon. I was small enough to pull it off. I didn't mean that. I didn't pull the darn things off. I meant I was small enough that I could wear something like that and make it work.

How did we hijack Marion's thread on her and her sister?
