Default Been a while

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and tell you I'm still above ground. I haven't been very good about keeping up on the board. Retiring and moving to Tennessee has been busy.

I think life in retirement is infinitely more busy than working... The yard work we used to hire out we do ourselves, the volunteering, reading books, building bird feeders, golf... It's just constant go, go, go. Cleaning up after the 2 ice storms these past few months haven't helped any.

I don't think about my MS much these days. We did put in a stair lift for days that I really can't walk down the stairs. I now have been told I have gallstones, a hernia, stomach ulcers (recently repaired), a screwed up liver, and need to have my gall bladder removed, so MS has taken a back seat to a few things, to include our upcoming 2 week trip thru the Smoky Mountains.

I'll try to stop by more often.

Tom

Glad to see you're not pushing up daisies

You've got a lot on your plate, health-wise...prayers that all gets healed quickly and you can truly enjoy retirement.

DH retired a little over a year ago and we've never been busier. He wonders how he got so much done when he was working...

Keep checking in now...

So good to hear from you, Tom! Sounds like the non-MS issues are fixable. Sounds like you are enjoying retirement otherwise. Say Hi to your pretty wife for me!

Howdy Tom! I was just thinking about you since I was at the MS150 Expo signing bandanna after bandanna a couple of weeks ago. We had to cancel day one of the ride again this year due to rain flooding out the fairgrounds in LaGrange. Glad to hear you are surviving your way through things even if it hasn't been particularly easy!
