Hello My Friends,

once again it has been a while... but I wanted to post an update.

For those who know me you know that I have been since 2007 being treated for MS but not having a MRI or LP that actually says yes you have MS. For the last two years I have been thinking the Neuro was wrong and I don't have it or my mind is just crazy!!

Well, last Monday I had my first MRI in two years, Friday morning at 9:30 am, my Doctor informed me the results from my MRI on Monday is 'Significant Signs of MS'.

I am not sure how to describe how I felt at the time of hearing it. Even though deep down in the bottom of my heart I knew this day would come, I didn't want to hear. I guess I hoped all these years the Neurologist was wrong....

So now, I go forward - I go knowing that I am not crazy and there is wonderful treatments out there and I have finally gotten an answer.

Hi Yeahbut, great to hear from you. Well I guess that is bitter with the sweet news. And you are not nuts..lol! How is the MS treating you now? How are you coping?

Hey there girlie! You've been missed.

It's hard to hear from someone "official" that you do, indeed, have a disease. When you don't have the diagnosis it's easy to tell yourself it's not real.

Do you know which therapy you'll start taking? There are so many now.....and lots are oral medications.

I do hope you'll continue to come here. Seeing your post has reminded me of all the craziness we all used to get into here. It was fun.

i understand your feelings.
when i was dx'd 11 yrs ago i knew in my head what i was going to hear.

yet, when the dr called and confirmed it i was shocked. it's just like a punch in the gut.

but i know you're strong enuf to take the news and move forward. just be gentle with yourself. please don't be a stranger. keep us posted. i'm also glad your dr now has "proof".

Hi, I see the Dr on the 23rd... Not sure what I will do.

Sally, I am having my first flare up in two years. Started about a month ago. Right now up most of the night with no sleep.

Aw, Sorry you got that news...but you probably knew you'd hear it eventually.

Now you can be proactive and work to make each day the best it can be...

think about all your Q's and start to write them down.
also, consider taking a friend or family member with you for another set of ears.

when you're under stress and not feeling well a friend may help you to remember what the dr says. also, ask for a copy of his note. that may also help you keep track of what his plan of care is.
