Default Thanksgiving

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

We are a small group this year, just 11. We usually have my brother and family which is 8 more but my brother was laid off in the summer. He was a chaplain in a hospice that decided to downsize. He is now a packager at Amazon.com working for considerably less so they are not coming. But we are thankful they are all well and he has a job. His heroin addicted son is well and on his way to complete recovery. Well as much as addicts are, they know they are never recovered. He is a emotionally and physically strong young man now. So much to be thankful for.

Right now sleeping in my lower level is my daughter, son in law and 2 precious grand children. My youngest had her birthday Nov 14 but since they are never here at that time we celebrate it on Thanksgiving evening. We let the business and the meal and get together die down and then in the evening change courses and have a birthday. She things she is very special! And she is!!!!

Hope you all are safe in driving and all have a good time. My group here and my group on My fitness pal are two things I am very thankful for. It is so wonderful to have such families like this.
