Sleeper - That's still a really good price. Stocking up when prices are so low like that is great if you have the room (freezer and/or pantry).

I haven't checked out today's sales as most of the stores here have sales from Wednesday to Wednesday and some have weekend specials. We have Safeway here and they have $5 Fridays. They usually have some good deal on that day. Others have 72 hour sales on the weekend.

Our Publix has lots of BOGO deals every week. Some weeks are better than others. This week there wasn't much that I use on the BOGO items. It's nice, too, because on those items if you only buy one you get it for 1/2 price. I miss going to the grocery store. Grocery shopping used to be my favorite thing to do. I know most hate it but I enjoyed walking up and down the aisles just browsing. Now, I buy most everything through jet.com. That site is awesome!

Kelly - I love it when the stores here have the buy one, get one __ free or 50% off. That's a good time to stock up on stuff as well.

We are not having any exciting sales this week. I have one other store to check out but I doubt there will be much there. We have Fry's (Kroger's) here and they are generally the cheapest. But, Sprouts has been having the best sales. Their regular prices are kind of high but there sales have been fantastic.

Kitty, did you see that Wal-Mart bought Jet?

Kitty, I have made purchases from Jet and Walmart online, no problems with either. I just hope Walmart doesn't narrow the choices of products available?

Jet.com is testing the delivery of fresh groceries in certain areas. Of course, mine isn't one of them but I'd use that service in a hot minute!

I like Jet.com better than Amazon Prime Pantry. My pile of recycling each week is becoming nothing but a big pile of purple!

I don't venture in to Wal-Mart unless absolutely necessary and go sedated. j/k I don't go sedated. But, it is way too crazy in there!!! It's not my favorite place to shop. I know they price match but to me it is not worth the stress of shopping there.
